English School Hand Painted Portrait Of Important Gent

This is a very old water colour portrait of an Englishman.Obviously of an important stature with the House of Lords or Lord Of the Manor.The inscript about the framer on the back indicates an age of mid to late 19th century. Painting depicts a gentleman with ornate collar and fur accented red cloak. Painting measures 4" by 5 1/2". Overall frame size is 8 1/4" by 6 3/4".The oak frame is handcarved. Original glass protects the painting. It has not been taken out of the frame very good condition
