Vintage Collectible Folk Art Diamond Willow Walking Stick/Cane Early 1900s

Vintage collectible folk art diamond willow walking stick/cane from the early 1900s still in very good shape. Diamond willow sticks are found from Canada to the gulf. The diamond pattern is caused by a fungus that attacks a new bud and kills it. The fungus follows rivers and watersheds. The fungus kills the potential new branch but not the willow tree itself. This stick is 35" long. There is an age crack at the handle down which is about 6" long. The age crack does not threaten the cane.
