Vintage Hooked Rug Dickens Silhouette Carriage Design

Here is a lovely vintage hooked rug from the early 1900s-1930s era in wonderful condition! The background is green, the silhoutte of the carriage, horse and lovers is done in black and there are some red accents. Notice the lighter scalloped design and the dark green edging also. This rug measures about 42" x 27" and will look wonderful hanging up as wall art. It certainly deserves such attention as it is skillfully done and quite stunning! And perhaps the best part...this unique design is in near perfect condition. There are 2 small light brown spots (please see photos) that I have not tried to clean...I will leave that up to the new owner, however these do not detract from the overall desirability of this hand hooked rug. This is a fine example of the skilled handiwork done in years past...Great for the collector too!
