RARE Early 1900s Lovely Female Santa Claus by P Sander Postcard
This postcard was sent from one fellow to another in 1912...I can see that this lovely Santa would have easily caught the eye of a young man! Dressed in the traditional red Santa fashions, this lovely lass carries a bag of old fashioned toys and two suitcases as she wishes all "A Merry Christmas". On one suitcase the last name Claus can be seen. Perhaps she represents the wannabe liberated woman back then or a young Mrs. Claus?? Unique subject matter for that time!! Card has been postally used, is slightly embossed with some gold gilting in the background and in good condition. A neat addition to a Holiday postcard collection.
