Here is another great find for the children's clothing collector! This antique dress is so wonderful...so much skillful hand stitching went into the making of this dress you can almost feel the love! From the v shaped bodice filled with white work stitching, to the little gathered waist with more white on white designs and the creative embroidery over the shoulders...it is simply stunning. I believe it is totally hand stitched and probably dates to the mid 1800s era. It has a draw string that goes through the neckline and ties in the back. It measures about 23" long and though it does have some tiny holes or marks here and there, these are easily forgiven all things considered. This should be framed under glass because it truly is a work of art!!
