Here's a very scarce pattern by made by Lancaster Glass c.1929. This is Deco Brocade, and is acid etched. Lancaster made very little etched glass, and this is one of their scarcest and most desirable designs. This is a large 3-footed centerpiece bowl on the Petal blank. Zastowney's Lancaster book does not list this as a documented piece, so it could possibly be the only one known. A large and impressive piece at 11 1/2"diameter and 4" high. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks and very little sign of use. Some very slight seam roughness on the feet should be considered normal shelf wear for this piece, since the seams run right across the middle of the feet. Nice strong pink color and very sharply detailed etching.
