Fostoria Palm Leaf Brocade Iridescent Pink Etched Carnival Glass Compote

This is a beautiful Fostoria #2400 pink compote etched with the #77 Palm Leaf decoration. This was made in 1929 only. This decoration included a "Mother of Pearl" iridescent finish, and is prized by both elegant glass collectors and carnival glass collectors. Carnival collectors call the pattern "Brocaded Palms." Has nice light multi-colored iridescence with blue, gold, purple and green. Perfect condition, with no chips, nicks, or cracks. The gold trim is nice with only minor traces of wear. 6 1/4" diameter and 4 1/2" high.
