This is a set of five hard to find Johnson Bros Friendly Village square snack plates. I don't have the cups, but I believe they use the teacups that you probably already have. The outer edge of the cup ring is 2 1/8" and the flat bottom of the ring is 1 7/8". The plates are 7 3/4" measures straight across. The scene is "The Covered Bridge." They all have the older brown "mailbox" mark with "Made in England." These are in pretty good shape. They show some use if you look closely at an angle, but not too bad. One has a few lines of crazing front and back. One has a TINY (about 1 mm) nick on the underside of the rim. These aren't like new, but they are all decent pieces that will pass the "mother-in-law" test. A well known replacement firm wants $26.99 each for these.
