Norman Norell is considered one of the greatest vintage clothing designers of all time. His clothing is collected by many modern day designers and used for inspiration all over the world. This dress is in perfect condition. It is a knit gown from the 1960s. Every rhinestone button is very bright, and has all its stones. The very long knit belt is actually attached at the side seams with a thread chain, which can easily be cut should you choose to not use it.
The neckline has a very deep scoop in the front, and there is a 3 inch piece of boning to hold it in place.
There are two large patch pockets on the lower sides.
The label indicates this is an early Norell, which makes it more desirable. There is also a label for the boutique it was originally sold in.
The dress is about a size 8, and a knit with some stretch.
Bust - 34" Waist - 32" Hip - 38"
There is a small cluster of small holes on the right shoulder, which can be seen in the photos above. This item has been dry cleaned.
