Georgian Book Box

This is one of the lovely boxes made in Georgian times designed to look like a book. Most have small openings where a treasure or money could be placed. This one is a lovely dark wood; either rosewood or mahogony, and it measures 2 X 3 inches. There is no damage at all to the box. It dates about 1800.
