10 Inch Flow Blue, Plate,Wood and Sons, Clarence, Victorian

I am very proud to be able to offer some of the wonderful Flow Blue Stock, belonging to the late JoAnn Lewis, of Gallatin, Tennessee. Those of you who buy Flow Blue, probably knew JoAnn, and know she was one of the most professional of the Flow Blue (and Fine Linen) Dealers, and one who had a large and varied inventory. JoAnn was a long time vendor at the Nashville Flea Market, Scott's Antique Market, and the Metrolina Show, and a Ruby Lane Shop Owner, She died suddenly and tragically in 2003, and her son was occupied with selling her home, and packing up her things. He called me a short time ago, saying he had found my card in her stock, and was ready to sell some of her Inventory. He is a Nippon collector, and more interested in that than he is in the Flow Blue. I don't know a lot about Flow Blue, but wanted some of her stock, so went over to purchase a few pieces, and brought out a few to sell on consignment. I will be adding them on Ruby Lane the next few weeks, but please, you Flow Blue Collectors out there, feel free to email about anything I don't have offered, because I can check to see what else is available. JoAnn's son was just unpacking container after container. She had several large waste bowls, a Dolphin Jardiniere, and a Flow Blue Lazy Susan, among many tureens, plates, etc. I couldn't get it all, but will be happy to help anyone acquire any of her pieces that I don't have listed. JoAnn was very special to me; she helped me sell one of my first successes on line--a Flow Blue Frog-In-The-Mug-- when I didn't even know how to list anything on the computer. I miss her, and know she would want her friends and loyal customers to have first pick of her stock. That's her son's belief, and that's why he called me. This 10 inch plate is Clarence, by Wood and Sons, and it is in excellent condition. It is one of two of the ten inch plates, and several other smaller plates, I have available in this same pattern--and I'm sure JoAnn's son has more. It is circa 1890-1900 and clearly marked. Please excuse the shadows, and the photo of the mark on this plate isn't very clear because of shadows, but the mark is as clear as those on the other plates, where the photo turned out better.
