Portrait Miniature of Nelson, Oil on Wood, Victorian
This is a portrait miniature of Lord Nelson, the famed English Naval Hero of the Battle of Trafalgar. It was done sometime after is death. I am placing it circa 1880-90. It has been professionally cleaned and restored. I have a photo of it in its original condition which will go to the buyer. In the photo, a few little white marks appear. Remember I took this outside with a macro lens. I can't see any little white dots at all without a magnifying glass. This is a wonderful piece, for lovers of maritime history, or collectors of Nelson.
