Curb Bracelet, 9 ct gold, amethyst, Victorian
I always like the curb bracelets, because they are durable, and lie flat against your wrist. I have a few for sale, but this is the first I have seen set with stones--in this case, wonderful amethysts, eight of them to be exact. The bracelet is fashioned from 9 ct (marked) rose gold. It is circa 1900, and someone has, later, added a safety chain. It is 7 and 3/4 inches long, and it really sparkles on the wrist. This is another of the pieces I'd like to keep for myself!
