Marked Japan, these Geisha Girl Porcelain Bowls were probably made between 1910-1930's. A Japanese China effort aimed at the booming export markets of the U.S., and other countries. The bowls feature colorful Kimono-clad Japanese ladies surrounded by floral and mountain ranges. The 7 1/2" bow is divided into eight scalloped sections with a burnt-orange border rim. They are the same design and pattern. Both are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
