Royal Doulton Tony Weller Dickens Figurine

Tony Weller is a character in the Charles Dickens' novel "The Pickwick Papers." Royal Doulton produced the Series One Dickens characters from 1928 on. This particular figurine has the backstamp that indicates it is from the M varieties, M47 in particular, which were produced between 1932-1949. This piece stands 3.5" tall and was designed by L. Harradine.

The price is significantly lower on this piece as it does have several tight hairline cracks across the back of the hat and down the right shoulder and arm. They are only noticeable under bright light and close inspection, and can be felt. They are difficult to photograph.

There is no box or paperwork with this piece.
