Hand Carved and Painted Wooden Duck Decoy Signed Haag

This beautiful wooden duck decoy is signed in carving on the bottom D. Haag 1985. There are three holes on the bottom which may indicate that it once was a working decoy and now has had the weights or keel removed. The paint has a beautiful washed patina. This may be from fading if it has actually been a working decoy. The eyes are hand carved and painted. It also has caved nares or nostrils and bill. There are a few dings, and it needs cleaning, but it has such a nice look and feel. The decoy measures 15.5" long and 4.75" wide. It will require an oversized box for shipping, so I will send this parcel post if you prefer to lower costs.
