Royal Crown Derby Bone China Fox Paperweight

This gorgeous bone china paperweight of a fox was produced by Royal Crown Derby in England. It has the Royal Crown Derby mark followed by the Roman numerals LIII which dates it to 1990, since Roman numerals were first put into use in 1938. It also has the artist's initials which looks like an LP, and the letter g. It appears to have a metal silver stopper which indicates it is a second. There are a few teeny pin prick spots on it's back where the paint is missing, which is not significant but mentioned for accuracy. The photos don't do the fox justice. The orange has dark shading which is washed out with the camera flash. The fox has gold detailing throughout, and turquoise colored eyes. The piece measures about 4.25" long, 2.25" high, and 3" wide.
