A. C. Davey California Art Pottery Tray on Stand

This neat vintage pottery tray is marked with the incised words of AC Davey Inc Calif. I haven't been able to locate any information about the company, but suspect from the style and color that this dates to the 1950's - 1970's. The ceramic tray measures 18" long and 9.25" wide at the widest part. The center has a raised pattern resembling a strand of ribbon. There is gold tone paint on the top sections of the "ribbon" where there is some ribbing. The tray sits on a gold tone metal stand with wooden handles and ball feet. There is an area on the underside where the glaze did not cover. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. The wooden handles have some wear marks but probably would polish up nicely with Old English scratch polish or something similar. The color of the tray is pinkish salmon.
