Franklin Mint Ching Dynasty Jade Curio Cabinet Cat

In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages. This intricately carved cat is made of jade glass, an art form developed in China with the more elaborate carvings produced during the Ching Dynasty (1644-1912). This piece still has a clear label indicating it was produced by Franklin Mint in 1986. The cat measures about 2.75" high. It is in excellent condition. No paperwork.
