Franklin Mint Vienna Bronze Curio Cabinet Cat

In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages. This charming bronze cat is done in the style of bronze figurines made in Vienna in the 19th century This particular piece still has the paper label indicating it was crafted in Taiwan and is incised with the Franklin Mint logo 88 FM, which dates it to 1988. The cat measures about 2.5" long and 1.75" high. The ball of yarn is actually more orange than yellow, but the camera flash washes it out a bit. It is in excellent condition. No paperwork.
