Chein Industries Santa Roly Poly Tin

This roly poly tin was produced in 1980 by Chein industries, Inc. This is a replica of an antique container manufactured in the United States circa early 1900's, and is one of six tobacco tins produced by Chein Industries. Most of the tins are marked Bristol Ware which was a division of Chein and have more detailed remarks on the bottom. I am not sure why this Santa has just the Chein mark. The original antique tins when available sell for several hundreds of dollars. This line gives collectors a more affordable option yet still has the charm of the originals.

This particular tin is in excellent condition with no dents or rust. The Santa's cap has faded a tad, but otherwise the colors are vibrant. There are a few insignificant surface scratches. The tin measures about 6.75" high and about 5.5" wide.
