1847 Rogers Bros Silverplate Berkshire Cheese Scoop

Berkshire is one of the most popular and collectible of the 1847 Rogers Brothers line of silverplate. It was introduced in 1897, and is now discontinued. This ad is for the hollow handled cheese scoop which is marked 1847 Rogers Bros A1(for standard plate). The scoop measures about 7.75" long and 1.25" wide across the bowl. It has been used so it does have some light usage marks, but is in excellent condition. A nice unusual piece to add to your collection.
