Lladro Rabbit's Food Porcelain Figurine #4826
This gorgeous porcelain figurine entitled "Rabbit's Food" was issued by Lladro in 1972 and retired in 1994. This is one of the early pieces as it has the Lladro mark without the accent which was only used from about 1970-74. The incised E 21 My indicates that is was fired on May 21st. The figurine is in excellent condition with no damage. It depicts a sweet young woman offering food from her apron to an anxiously awaiting rabbit. The figurine's sculptor was Vicente Martínez. It measures 9" tall. No box or paperwork available. The Second Edition Collecting Lladro Identification & Price Guide by Peggy Whiteneck lists this piece as having had a value of $250-300 in 2003.
