Vernonware Gingham Chop Plate Designed by Turnbull

This colorful hand painted green and yellow plaid pattern called Gingham was produced by Vernonware of California from 1949-1958. The designer was Turnbull, and the shape was called Montecito. The chop plate measures 12.25" in diameter. The condition is great with only very light usage marks in the center, which are noticeable only when tilted under bright light. The white spot on the rim in the photo is light reflection, not a chip. Look for matching pieces of this pattern in my other ads.
