This wonderful, French, diamond bracelet is from the Art Deco period. It is designed with beautifully set Old European Cut Diamonds. The diamonds are white , radiant H-I with a clarity of VS-SI. There are approximately 5.9 carats of diamonds in a geometric setting very characteristic of the Deco period designs.
It is platinum and 18 karat gold and retains all the French guarantee stamps.
The bracelet measures 7 inches long x 1/2 wide in the center. It gracefully tapers to an integral clasp. The clasp has an additional clever concealed safety below the setting, very typical of fine French design from this period.
The scale and design lends this to easily be worn casually or for evening elegance.
Known as Arts Decoratifs, this was abbreviated to the word Deco which is used worldwide today.
