Better than spring flowers, these diamonds are forever. They are 19th century and have over 5 carats of old mine and rose cuts diamonds. The setting is is as beautiful as the design, both front and back. The pale rose gold backs are hand engraved.
The diamonds, 60 Old Mine Cut and 30 Old Rose cuts are set in silver top gold.
These antique earrings have recently been fitted with pierced/clip backs to ensure they are perfectly placed on the ears. Flower head earrings in this dramatic size were often part of a large " En Tremblant" brooch or tiara and converted to earrings. This form is classic and seen today in designers such as Van Cleef and Arpels.
They measure approximately 1 1 /8th inches.
The stones are a very good quality, G-H color S12 clarity.
The center diamonds total approximately 1.42 carats.
Dramatic and superb in every detail.
19th century splendor.
