France, c. 1900 - 1915
This tiny little all-bisque is marked SFBJ Paris on the back of her head. She has painted eyes, a sparse mohair wig with tiny cardboard pate, a swivel neck and jointed at hips and shoulders. The hands and feet and nicely detailed for such a small girl. She has painted brown strap shoes, white shirred stockings and painted blue garters. She is wearing her original provincial costume with lace blouse and bonnet along with a skirt and apron. There is one tiny bead button missing, but this would be an easy fix if desired. She hasn't been undressed, but it feels like everything is intact. She's a lovely little example and I think she's unusual with the SFBJ marking.
