Germany, c. 1902-1915. Pretty bisque head doll on an antique ball jointed composition body marked Germany. Head is marked: 7 1/2 Walkure Germany. The body has the original finish with damage to the right wrist and some wear around the top of the legs and hip area. The balls at the elbow joints are replaced. The doll has it's original ash blond mohair wig, brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth and pierced ears (no earrings). The bisque has no breaks or damage, but there are some rubs to the nose, cheeks, chin and one eyebrow. (The larger line that shows on the lower right cheek in the close-up picture is hair - not a crack or rub). The doll is wearing a nicely made, appropriately styled dress and matching hat that was made about 25 years ago, along with pantaloons, white socks and black shoes. The wig has been removed so that the eyes can be packed for shipping. A very sweet doll, all ready to display! US Shipping Only.
