Vintage Signed "Hattie Carnegie" Gold-Tone Mesh Choker with Blue & White Sets

Hattie Carnegie was born in 1886 as Henrietta Kanengeiser and immigrated to the United States as a young girl. In 1939 she began marketing jewelry to coordinate with her fashion business established in 1918. This lovely signed choker necklace, circa 1950's, is composed of two rows of round white cabochons surrounding a single row of sapphire blue baguette rhinestones all prong mounted on a gold-tone mesh chain. The fold-over clasp is adorned with a clear baguette rhinestone and is stamped "Hattie Carnegie". The choker measures 14 1/2" in length and 1/2" in width. In near mint condition with slight ware on back of mesh chain.
