Fenton Burmese, Bill Fenton, Hand-Painted Ewer

The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by brothers Frank L and John W Fenton. Over the years, the company produced pattern, custard, carnival, colored and satin glass to name a few examples. This wonderful ewer with reeded handle is decorated with hand-painted florals. The color is great with ribbons of pink extending down the body of the ewer from the ruffled tri-fold top. A special commemorate item, it is marked "Bill Fenton Honoring 56 Years of Service 1946 - 2002" Bill Fenton (second generation) passed away in 2003. Also signed "Bill Fenton" and "Hand-Painted by D Robinson". A special piece of art that will never to made again. The ewer stands 6 3/4" tall and is 5 1/2" across the widest part. There are no cracks, chips, nicks or repairs. A super piece.
