The open lattice or reticulated wide border can be threaded with a colorful ribbon, tied with a bow at the top and hung on the wall as a decorative piece.
The Schumann & Schreider Company, 1905-1986, was founded by Christoph Schumann and Kart August Schreider. The plate measures 10 1/2" across and carries the company mark, circa 1949-1952, in gold, There are no cracks, chips or repairs.
