Copeland Spode "Rosebud Chintz" Pattern Oval Serving Platter
The "Rosebud Chintz" pattern was one of their most popular patterns, circa 1954-1971. The pattern consists of an all-over motif of dark pink roses and emerging buds extending from pink vines with pink and soft green leaves. Interspersed among the foliage are small pastel yellow flowers, all set against an off-white background. This lovely oval serving platter has a pleated border creating a gently scalloped edge and measures 13" in length and 10 1/4" in width. Stamped with the 20th century earthenware mark in pink "Copeland - Spode - England - Rosebud Chintz". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some light utensil marks from usage. Other items in this pattern are in my store.
