Maddock & Company White Ironstone Covered Oval Vegetable Tureen

This lovely white ironstone tureen, circa early 1900's, will be great for your table or display cabinet. The oval covered tureen sits on a raised collar base and measures 11 1/2" from handle-to-handle, 6 1/2" in width and 6 1/2" in height to the top of the handle. The decorative handles and finial have an embossed design where they are attached; it resembles a flower emerging from a clump of foliage. The stamped mark, used from 1906-1926, is a crown and "Royal Stone China - Maddock & Co. - Burslem England - Trade Mark". There are no cracks, chips, repairs or discoloration; probably used on only special occasions.
