Set of 7 - Early American Pressed Glass "Plume" Pattern Goblets

The "Plume" pressed glass pattern was manufactured by Adams & Company, Pittsburgh, in 1874, and by United States Glass Company from 1891-1898. Pattern design has both horizontal and vertical plumes. Made in non-flint, clear; some items are found in frosted and ruby stained.

This wonderful set of 7 goblets are original and not the later production made by the L.G. Wright Glass Company, New Martinsville, WV. The original goblets have three vertical plumes on the base of the stem and the bowls are somewhat barrel-shaped. The goblets measure 6" in height and 2 3/4" across the top. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; old pattern glass may have factory flaws and inclusions in the glass.
