Franz Detleff Goebel and his son William founded the F & W Goebel Company in 1871, located in Rodental, Germany.

This cute pair of matched rabbits are colored a light gray with pinkish highlights and dark penetrating eyes. This is one of three distinct poses for this particular line of rabbit figures. They measure 3 1/4" in length and 2 1/4" in height. Both figures carry the TMK-5 "The Last Bee" mark, circa 1972-1979; one is impressed "34 807-06". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some crazing lines in the glaze.
