Roseville Pottery "Cosmos" Vase in Blue #944-4
The Roseville Pottery "Cosmos" pattern was introduced in July 1939. Items were produced in a matt glaze, with solid color backgrounds of blue, green and earth tone brown with natural blending. Accented with a band of life-like cosmos floral in shades of orchid, ivory and white and green leaves.
This lovely matching pair are in the popular blue background. They measure 4 1/4" in height and 3 1/2" across the widest part. Graceful shape with arched handles. Marked "Roseville U.S.A. 944-4" There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The mold is sharper on one vase. The pair can be purchased for $195.
