Burgess & Leigh Flow Blue "Raleigh" Pattern Oval Platter

Burgess & Leigh (Ltd) operated Hill Pottery, circa 1867-1889; Middleport Pottery, circa 1889+, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries, England. Ltd. was added to the marks in 1919.

This beautiful flow blue platter, circa 1902, is the "Raleigh" pattern. The design in medium to dark blue depicts floral, leaves, scrolls and stylized designs of the era. The oval-shaped platter has angular cut corners and measures 12 3/8" in length and 9 1/2" in width. The stamped world globe mark is "Semi-Porcelain - England - Burgess & Leigh - Middleport Potteries - Burslem - Raleigh - Rd No 393237", it is also impressed "B & L England". There are no cracks, chips, stains or repairs. Super piece.
