A.H. Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio, first introduced the "Orchid" etched pattern in 1940 and it continued in production until the Heisey Company closed in 1957. During this time the "Orchid" pattern became Heisey's most popular etching.
This lovely crimped floral bowl is etched on Heisey blank #1509 known as Queen Ann. It measures 10" across and 2 3/4" in depth. Unmarked. There are no cracks, chips, discoloration or repairs. A beautiful and graceful pattern for all ages.
