Renoir Sauteur Sterling Silver "Stylized Leaf" Brooch & Clip Earrings Set

The Renoir line of jewelry was founded in Los Angeles, CA, in 1946 by Jerry Fels. Famous for its copper metal jewelry it also used sterling silver. The jewelry is mainly contemporary abstract designs that lean toward modern art. From 1958 until the company closed in 1964, the Sauteur line was produced in sterling silver and gold vermeil.

This elegant set depicts a simple stylized leaf over-laid with heavy curved stem. The brooch measures 3 1/4" in length and 1 1/4" in width. It is stamped "Sterling Sauteur Renoir" with copyright symbol. The earrings measure 1 1/2" in length and 3/4" in width. They are stamped "Sterling" and "Renoir" with copyright symbol. Wonderful vintage condition with original patina. Classic set.
