Buffalo Pottery "Geranium" Pattern Jug/Pitcher in Cobalt Blue
This beautiful chintz transfer was named the "Geranium" pattern and could be purchased with soap wrappers and a small additional charge from the Larkin Soap Catalog from 1905 to 1910. The all-over cobalt blue and white decorations on this jug/pitcher consists of geraniums and their leaves. The piece was also made with multicolor decoration. The item measures 5 1/4" in height and 6 1/2' from spout-to-handle. Marked on the base "Semi-Vitreous - Buffalo Pottery - warranted underglaze" and geranium leaf design. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. A great piece of Buffalo Pottery.
