Florence Ceramics - California - "Linda Lou" Figurine

The Florence Ceramics Company was founded by Florence Ward in the 1940's and produced some of America's finest semi-porcelain figurines during the late 40's - early 60's. This lovely figurine in "Linda Lou", outfitted in Godey fashions of the nineteenth century. She stands 7 3/4" tall and is attired in a two-piece flowing green dress and wide-brimmed hat with fur trim and holding a fur muff w/pink rose. The textured (fur) is highlighted with 22K gold. Beautiful blond hair, brown eyes and ruby lips compliment her lovely facial features. The base is faintly stamped mark #2 "Pasadena California - Copyright - Florence Ceramics" as well as incised "Linda Lou". There are no cracks, chips or repairs; several tiny nicks on hat's fur trim.
