Set of 6 - W. Adams Co. Flow Blue "Kyber" Pattern Luncheon Plates
The William Adams & Company, Tunstall and Stoke, Staffordshire was originally established in 1769. This beautiful set flow blue plates, circa 1893 - 1917, are in the scarce "Kyber" pattern. The center features an oriental garden motif of buildings, trees and floral and the wide bordered rim is composed of six cartouches of similar design. The shaded dark blue color is fantastic. The plates measure 9" across, with deep-well center shape. The marking, representing the pattern, is stamped "Kyber - W.Adams Co. - England". The condition is great with no cracks, chips or repairs; a few light utensil marks. This lovely set must have been packed away for years.
