Vintage 1920's "Bathing Beauty Riding a Turtle" Figurine

"Bathing Beauties" from all time periods will always be collectible, but none are more interesting than those from the early 1900's. This wonderful and unusual china figurine depicts a 1920's beauty riding a large turtle. Her facial features include brown eyes, rosy checks and reddish-brown hair. Her mid-thigh, full-body swim suit is adorned with brown and blue designs with gold gilt trim. The unusual feature is she is astride a large land turtle figure. The figurine measures 3" in length and 3" in height and is marked "Japan" on the base. There are no damages on this figurine, some age-related paint wear.
