Somnia Haemalia Proserpinae II - Natural Quartz, Red Sponge Coral and Sterling Silver Necklace

This necklace evokes the beauty and longing of the dream symbol. A large 18mm red sponge coral orb is linked to a gorgeous 36 carat natural (not glass, not lab-grown, not hydrothermal) crystal quartz teardrop by elements of spring not yet come -- an antiqued blossom holding the teardrop, stylized flowers cupping the onyx...a small faceted quartz rondelle and granulated elements of antiqued sterling silver crown the pendant. Wired onto a self-forming bail, the pendant hangs from a faceted box chain of sterling silver.

The chain measures 18" in length; the pendant falls just over 3" from the chain. This evocative piece ships in a gift box.
