Alexandria - Opulent Ametrine and Vermeil Drops

Alexandria - Certainly one of the most famous cities in the world, Alexandria was named for its Macedonian conquerer, Alexander the Great. Founded in 331 BC, it later became a jewel in the crown of the Roman Empire. Cosmopolitan and exotic, Alexandria was a coveted travel destination for Romans of wealth...these earrings feature two impressive faceted pieces of ametrine. A gemstone that sits between amethyst and citrine, ametrine carries golden undertones beneath its lavender hue. The stones in these earrings average 20x12mm and are sparkling in their translucency. Nestled between granulated stars of antiqued 22 karat gold over sterling silver vermeil, each gem is crowned with a small faceted rondelle of pink amethyst.

The earrings drop just under 1.5" from solid 14K gold ear wires and ship in a gift box.
