Byzantion II - Peach Coin Pearl and Sterling Filigree Drops

Byzantium - known from earliest times as Byzantion, the Romans changed the spelling to Byzantium when it became the center of their Eastern Empire....a place where east met west (literally and metaphorically), it absorbed cultures from the Mongolian steppes to the sands of Persia. These earrings, third in the series, carry with them a swirl of antiquity. Luminous freshwater coin pearls of a delicate whisper-pale peach colour are embraced by ornately filigreed sterling silver cups shaped to fit the form of the pearls. These in turn pend from ornately granulated sterling silver posts. Elegant, eastern, exotic....

The drops fall 1.5" from the post in the centre of the earring dome, and they ship in a gift box.
