Mintons Dinner Plate, "Embassy" Pattern , K108, Gilded Rim w/Cream & White

This beautiful dinner plate is 10" in diameter and is in excellent condition. The elegant pattern "Embassy" was introduced by Mintons in 1921, and stayed in production until it was discontinued in 1969. The rim and center bands are encrusted with gold. The center of the plate is pure white, and the rest is a soft cream color.

This particular plate is marked Mintons England, has the pattern number K108 handwritten in red, and has the impressed date cypher for 1922.

The plate has no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs. It rings when tapped. The gold is not worn. There are a few utensil scratches in the center of the plate which can be seen only when the plate is held at a certain angle.
