Wedgwood Basalt Tea Set: Teapot, Creamer & Sugar, Vintage c1930

This handsome Tea Set of "136 shape" can be seen on page 67 of Robin Reilly's Wedgwood Dictionary, which shows pages of the 1917 Wedgwood catalogue. The set is rather small: the teapot measures about 7" from handle to spout. It is decorated with classical reliefs.

The set is in excellent condition, with only some minimal roughness (nicks) at the end of the teapot's spout. All 5 pieces (including the two covers) ring when tapped.

What is very odd, however, is that the 3 pieces are marked "Wedgwood" only, (without the country of origin). The teapot and creamer seem to be date marked "30" for 1930, and the sugar is marked "36" for 1936.
