Gien Faience Plate, Harbor Scene, Antique 19thC French
Antique French Faience Plate made by the Faiencerie de Gien. It has a blue transfer harbor view which looks more Moroccan than "Oriental". The plate is 9" (about 23 cm) in diameter. It is marked MEDAILLES D'OR, Faiencerie de Gien. The plate is c.1875-1891.
