This attractive copper lustre jug is 6-1/2" high and dates 1835-50. It is likely a Staffordshire product, but similar jugs with a clock face were also made made at the Llanelli pottery in Wales. It is rare to find a Chinoiserie scene on a clock-face jug. This jug is unmarked.
The jug is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The only crazing I see is on the white face of the clock. The jug rings when tapped.
